Just after being weaned, this poor baby monkey faces a heartbreaking struggle that no young monkey should ever experience. Instead of receiving gentle care and protection, the confused infant is repeatedly pushed toward the water by its own mother. Again and again, the frightened baby tries to climb back to safety, but the mother continues forcing it into the water, leaving the tiny monkey exhausted and terrified.
